Available in three color options (Aqua Blue, Midnight Black, and Bordeaux Red), the Camon 11 is practically the most stylish Camon device ever made by Tecno. The device has an aspect ratio of 19: 9 and a visual thickness of 5.6 mm.
Compared with its predecessors, the Tecno Camon 11 boasts reduced (read: thin) frames and a rectangular cutout at the top of the screen for more exposure. This also makes the Camon 11 the first smartphone from Tecno to show a notch.
The physical keys (volume rockers and power/lock) are all on the upper right side of the device, while the 3.5mm headphone jack and the USB charging port are located on the bottom of the Camon C11.
The notch houses the selfie camera, headset, and a couple of other sensors, while the dual rear cameras are aligned vertically in the upper corner at the back.
On the left side of the Tecno Camon, 11 is the tray that houses the dual SIM card and micro SD card. Overall, the Tecno Camon 11 is decently designed (the glossy coating is well made) and a total beauty to behold.
Tecno Camon 11 Display
The front of the device is largely occupied by the large 6.2-inch SuperView screen with an impressive 87.5% close-to-close ratio and 500nts brightness.
There is a rectangular cutout at the top of the screen that positions the Camon 11 as the first smartphone of the Tecno brand with a display notch.
The monitor is an LCD screen with HD + resolution (resolution of 1500 x 720 pixels) for optimal image and color reproduction.
Tecno Camon 11 Internal Configuration
In Camon 11, TECNO uses the latest version of its native HiOS (v4.1) that comes with new onboard features: digital call recording, softer and redefined interface, system navigation gesture, launch applications using fingerprint, ability to uninstall system applications, and more. HiOS 4.1 is, however, based on the Android 8.1 operating system.
The CPU that powers the Camon 11 is a MediaTek MT6761 quad-core system with a clock speed of 1.5GHz. The device comes with 2 GB of RAM and 3 GB of RAM, while the internal storage options are 16 GB and 32 GB.
Tecno Camon C11 Camera
The specifications and camera features of this device are the primary selling points. There is a dual-camera configuration on the back which comprises a primary 13-megapixel lens and a secondary 2-megapixel sensor.
Below the sensors are the device’s quad-LED flash to illuminate objects to be captured. In Camon 11, TECNO promises spotless image quality, as it uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) coupled with the professional 4-in-1 re-mosaic algorithm.
