Like other smartphones, the OPPO Reno 8T 4G is sleek and contemporary in appearance. The device has an enlarged design emphasis on the camera region. The phone has a cleaner appearance since the camera is isolated from the rest of the device. The LED ring surrounding the primary camera is one distinctive design feature; it only lights up when you get a notification, while it is charging, or when you are playing a game.
The gadget weighs 171g, is 7.7mm thick, and is thin. It features a solid frame, tactile buttons, and a pleasant feel in hand. The volume controls, microSD card slot, and SIM tray is on the phone’s right side. The lock/power switch is the only item on the left. A USB Type-C connector, a loudspeaker, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are all located on the phone’s bottom.
DISPLAY AND QUALITY
A typical 6.5-inch display with an FHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling for responsiveness is included on the OPPO Reno 8 T 4G. Given that it is not as vivid as other OLED panels, the display quality is passable but not excellent.
On the plus side, the stereo speakers sound lovely and have a powerful volume that can be heard even in busy settings like coffee shops.
Performance
A MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core CPU, 8GB of RAM, and a massive 256GB of storage with a microSD card slot are included with the OPPO Reno 8 T 4G. The chipset can handle essential and everyday work efficiently, and the quick 90Hz display makes it easy to navigate the interface and browse social media feeds.
Cameras
The 100-megapixel primary camera on the OPPO Reno 8 T has a bright aperture of f/1.7 and is very crisp. Instead of a single camera with a more advantageous ultra-wide or telephoto lens, it is joined by two 2-megapixel sensors. The primary camera produces attractive, social media-ready images, albeit slightly too much, leading to oversaturated images in specific photographs. Situations with poor lighting or low light levels might mess with the white balance and contrast settings.
Also, the smartphone contains a 2-megapixel magnifying lens, which, although it may seem gimmicky at first, may be extremely useful. Selfies captured by the 32-megapixel camera’s pixel-dense sensor are unexpectedly clear and detailed.
Oppo Reno 8T 4G Software
The OxygenOS 13 from the OnePlus 11 is comparable to ColorOS 13, which powers the OPPO Reno 8 T. The control center may now be customized more to provide you access to a clean, simple interface. Some pre-installed programs may be deactivated or deleted even if you might not require them.
The improved dark mode, which extends to third-party applications and provides a more uniform appearance, is one of ColorOS 13’s noteworthy features. The program also offers valuable features like app cloner and game space to enhance gaming performance.
BATTERY LIFE
The 5000mAh battery in the OPPO Reno 8T 4G can easily power the device for a whole day. When used heavily, such as while streaming video and playing games, the battery life may last 7-8 hours. The phone can be charged from zero to one hundred percent using the device’s 33W rapid charging capability, which takes around 50 minutes.
